The Korean Artists Association of (KAAH) was established in 1986 with only 6 members.  Now there are over 40 KAAH members who work with oil, watercolor, Mixed media, photography, sculpture and Oriental painting.

The Korean Artist Association of Hawaii holds Annual Watercolor Workshops and it is actively involved in various shows, including the KAAH-Incheon International Exchange Exhibition  and the Washington D.C. Exhibition. The KAAH Members’ Annual Art Exhibition is held at the Honolulu City Hall.  Also KAAH hosts an annual Children's Art Contest for the Korean-American children of Hawaii. KAAH submits the winners’ names to their respective schools to further recognize their achievement.

한인 미술협회는 1986년에 창립 매년 연례회원전을 갖고있으며, 창립 당시 6명으로 시작하여 현재는 30여명 이상의 회원을 두고 있습니다. 본 협회는 순수미술을 위주로 유화, 수채화, 동양화, 공예, 사진, 조각 (판화) 등  다섯분야로 활동하고 있습니다.

분야별로 회원들의 현지 미술 공모전에 참가, 주목받는 미술인들로서 활동하며, 매년 한인 동포들을 대상으로 수채화 워크샵을 주최하고, 국제 미술 교류전과 타주와의 미술 교류전등을 통해, 예술인의 긍지를 높이고 있습니다. 또한 한인 2세들의 잠재력 발굴을 위해 어린이 사생대회를 매년 한국재외동포 재단의 후원과 교민들의 협찬하에 주최하고 한인 어린이 특기생을 발굴하여 한국인의 정체성을 심어주고 있으며, 각 수상자는 해당학교에 통지, 한인 어린이들의 우수성을 알리고 있습니다.
